FINDING THE DUMBEST FANS
Our mission was to find the two biggest Dumb & Dumber fans in the country to win a road trip in the one and only Shaggin’ Wagon. Not only did we find our winners, we also shared the entire experience with Dumb fans across the nation.
We announced the contest in July of 2014 with a responsive HTML5 website and printables that were handed out at Comic-Con in San Diego. At this time, we immediately began accepting video entries that were displayed on the site. After many hilarious submissions, the winners were chosen, and the Mutt Cutts World Tour (of America) began.
HITTING THE ROAD
We sent a production crew out on the road to capture the insanity of the tour and create some of the Dumbest content ever, ending with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels driving the Shaggin’ Wagon to the film’s premiere.
The final phase of the site displayed all the details of the tour and showcased user created images, videos, and posts from multiple social networks including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
